Tallow GAA Waterford
Situated, right on the Cork border, Tallow GAA club is based in West Waterford, this year they received funding from the Community Recognition Fund from Waterford County Council to assist them in stage 1 of a six stage development, which commenced with a walkway around their club pitch for community use.
Econ solar solutions tendered for this contract, competing with traditional mains lighting companies. The result of this tender process meant that the solar option was approximately 50% of all the mains options available as very little digging was required, along with no ducting being required also.
On receiving the contract, Econ Solar Solutions commenced work immediately, liaising with the club to set out where the walkway lighting would go along with the type of lights that they wanted to go with. Tallow GAA chose our Integrated 60Watt Street Light which allows for 5 hours of lighting per night. This light has a 3 year warranty also.
